Aimee Pritchett - The Specialist Mental Health Nurse
I’m Aimee Pritchett, a Specialist Mental Health Nurse and Independent Prescriber with a passion for supporting individuals with Autism, ADHD, and co-existing mental health needs. I qualified in 2014 and have over 19 years experience in service. I have worked extensively with children, adolescents, and families across a range of mental health settings, including inpatient care, crisis intervention, then finding my passion in neurodevelopmental conditions in 2019.
I have dedicated my part of my career to providing comprehensive assessments, diagnoses, and treatments in the field of neuro. Since finishing my substantive role CAMHS Buckinghamshire, I now run my own private practice in High Wycombe.
Our team works within the NICE guidelines and closely follows new approaches and evidenced based care.
We believe that understanding neurodiversity can bring clarity, empowerment, and improved well-being to the individual and the people around them, including family members, friends, education teams and employers. Our team are committed to creating a safe, supportive space where individuals aged 7 and above can explore their needs with the correct diagnosis and formulation.
If you or a loved one are exploring the need for assessment, diagnosis and therapeutic support, we are here to help.
“The assessment process is a therapeutic intervention in itself. The potential of a diagnosis of Autism or ADHD can bring great clarity, empathy & understanding to an individual, their family & the networks surrounding them”.
